The Speakers

Alan Ferguson – Assistant Support Director for Servite Houses, will provide an overview of, the history and funding of supported housing; how supported housing currently works; the issues facing providers of social housing now and in the foreseeable future; and some of the problems faced by specific client groups.

Stephen Evans – Barrister of 5 Paper Buildings, will provide a round-up of recent cases in this area, following his appearances in the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords in Lewisham LBC v Malcolm.

Thelma Griffin – Legal Executive of Servite Houses, will chair the meeting.
